學校簡介
日本國際學校創校於1997年，於2021年6月榮獲「年度最佳小學」殊榮。校舍坐落於新界東北部的專用校園，為學生提供獨特的多元文化學習環境。學校矢志提供優質教育，並獲專業學習社群全力支持，自2007年起更成為正式認證的IB世界學校，採用小學項目(PYP)作為課程框架。PYP課程與學校的辦學理念相輔相成，致力培養學生對本地及全球議題的興趣。
日本國際學校擁有來自不同國家及文化背景的學生，且在學術研究及課程設計上秉持高標準，提供涵蓋多元創意學習體驗的廣闊課程，並設有日語或普通話作為附加語言選修。還有，學校特別重視環境教育與戶外探索，培養學生對自然的欣賞與熱愛。校內配備優質設施，包括室內恆溫游泳池等。
憑藉小班教學、國際師資及豐富教學資源，日本國際學校雖然是小型學校，卻能全面支援學童的學習與全人發展。此外，我們與ICHK中學部直接銜接，提供4至18歲「一條龍」教育，所有學生均可無縫升讀七年級。

The Japanese International School of Hong Kong opened in 1997. Voted ‘Primary School of the Year' in June 2021, JIS sits on a large, purpose built campus in the North East New Territories of Hong Kong, where we provide a unique, multi-cultural context for our students.
We have a strong commitment to quality education supported by a dedicated learning community. We have been a fully authorized IB world school since 2007 and utilise the Primary Years Programme (PYP) as our curriculum framework. The PYP compliments our desire to be an international school that develops a deep understanding within our students of issues that relate to their lives locally and globally.
Our students come from a range of nationalities and cultures. We set ourselves high standards in all that we do, both through academic study and the provision of a broad curriculum that encompasses a wide range of creative learning experiences and additional language study- either Japanese or Mandarin.

We have a major focus on the environment and exploring the great outdoors. Students at JIS develop an appreciation and love for nature. At JIS we offer a unique environment that offers high quality facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool.
With small class sizes, international teachers and extensive resources to support learning, teaching and the development of the whole child, we are a small school with a big heart.
Additionally, we are delighted to be able to offer a full 'through train' of education from 4 - 18 years with our direct link to ICHK Secondary - all students wishing to take up the offer of a place at the school have an automatic transition to Year 7.
