康樂園國際學校創立於1983年，不僅是一所國際學校，更是一個學習者社群。學校現有近400名學生，規模恰到好處——既小至師生能互相直呼其名，又大至能為孩子提供豐富的成長機會。校區坐落於綠意盎然的康樂園，交通便捷，往來市區及深圳邊境均十分便利(最近港鐵站為太和站)。

康樂園國際學校是全球森林學校教育的先驅，廣闊的戶外空間與清新空氣讓孩子茁壯成長。小學部擁有全港罕見的天然大草坪，提供絕佳的活動與運動空間，校內設有香草園、菜圃、花園、迷你森林區、校園遊樂場、戶外森林教室及名為「The Woods」的自然探索區，而幼稚園部則設有前後寬敞花園及戶外遊樂設施。

學校接收2歲8個月起的幼兒，大多數學生會直升小學部。學生可優先入讀位於新界沙頭角的合作中學——International College Hong Kong Secondary。作為自2010年起獲認證的IB小學項目(PYP)學校，康樂園國際學校採用PYP課程框架，以英語授課為主，並配備強化的中文課程。所有學生每日均接受繁體字普通話課程。

康樂園國際學校是全港唯一獲認證的「雙語及多語學習者(BML)智能學校」。此認證意味著學校全體教師均接受過專業培訓，能以最佳教學方法支援雙語及多語學習者的發展。

Located in the leafy village of Hong Lok Yuen, ICHK HLY is well-connected to the city and the Shenzhen border (the closest MTR station is Tai Wo).

ICHK HLY is a world-leading site for Forest School education. There is abundant space and fresh air for children to thrive. The giant natural playing field offers Primary students unrivalled opportunities for active play and sports. There's also an allotment where children grow their own herbs, vegetables and flowers, a mini forest, a school playground, an outdoor forest classroom and a nature area called "The Woods". The Kindergarten benefits from spacious gardens at the front and back and outdoor play apparatus.

Students can join the Kindergarten programme from 2 years 8 months old and most children continue through their Primary years. ICHK HLY students get priority places at their partner school International College Hong Kong Secondary located in Sha Tau Kok (New Territories). An accredited IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) school since 2010, ICHK HLY follows the PYP framework. Lessons are conducted in English, alongside a strong Chinese programme. All students have daily Mandarin Lessons using traditional characters.

ICHK HLY is the only Bilingual and Multilingual Learners (BML) Smart School in Hong Kong. This recognition means that the school is committed to better understanding and supporting bilingual and multilingual learners as all teaching staff are trained in best practices and approaches for bilingual and multilingual students.
